Mu Alpha Theta is a national club that recognizes students who have an aptitude in Mathematics. The Mu Alpha Theta Club meets the first Friday of each month in Ms. Sims’s room (Rm. 112). Students interested in participating in the Mu Alpha Theta Club need to have taken Algebra II, have at least a 3.25 GPA in Mathematic classes and a 3.0 GPA Overall.  Mu Alpha Theta members must tutor students before or after school in Mathematics for a total of 4 hours and 1 hour of community service each semester. The Math Club sponsors the Faculty Talent Show each year to raise money for two student scholarships.
