The 2026 Golden Eagle Scholarship is now open! Please help us share this opportunity with all eligible and interested students. 

Scholarship Details:

• Supports students in East Tennessee for their first year of college or an accredited technical program

• Awards: $1,000–$2,000

• Preference for students from historically underserved communities, Latino/Hispanic students, immigrants, or those ineligible for state/federal aid

Who Can Apply:

• High school seniors graduating in 2026 from Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Sevier, or Union counties

• First-generation college students (neither parent/guardian has a 4-year degree in the US)

• Minimum GPA 2.75

I’m also excited to introduce Alexa Maqueo Toledo, our new Postsecondary Access Coordinator. Alexa is a 2022 graduate of Maryville College and brings valuable experience from her time at Project GRAD Knoxville and Ed Trust Tennessee. She is an amazing addition to our team as we continue to support students across our community, and she looks forward to working closely with high school students starting this fall.
