At Home Learning Day for 9th and 12th grades (Fr. & Sr.)

Pre-ACT & ACT for 10th and 11th (Soph & Jrs)

Students,

Our Pre-ACT and ACT is coming up on March 24th. Please be sure to report to the school by 8 am with your charged computer; testing will start promptly at 8:15 that day. If you arrive late, YOU WILL HAVE TO DO THE MAKE UP AND WILL NOT TAKE THE TEST ON THIS DAY. Please be on time.

The Pre-ACT provides students and the school with an idea of where the student may fall on the ACT, along with providing them with practice prior to the ACT. The ACT opens up opportunities for college, scholarships, and TCAT math credits.

Be sure to charge your computer the night before the test. Attached is a list of testing locations for each of you. Please take note of your testing location. Students will also need their student ID or driver's license for entrance into testing rooms. After testing is complete, students are allowed to go home. Pre-ACT (SOPH.) will finish around 11.  ACT (JUNIORS) will not finish until around 1.   Lunch will be served, and buses will run at normal scheduled times for students that do not have early transportation.
SOPHOMORES LEAVING AT 11 - NEED TO BE PICKED UP AT THE CAR RIDER AREA, HARRISON ROAD DUE TO OUR JUNIORS STILL TESTING AND KEEPING THE FRONT FOYER QUIET.

A good night’s sleep and breakfast are recommended to do your best on the test. As usual, breakfast will be served that morning if you are interested. The ACT test is a long one and will go until around 1 pm with a 15-minute break between the math and reading test. Phones will not be allowed in the testing room. If you bring your phone that day, we will have a container for your phone to be turned in before testing. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Everitt at jaeveritt@lenoircityschools.net.
