Panther Day

We are excited to announce that Panther Day (August 1, 2024)  is dedicated to welcoming our new freshmen and ensuring they have a smooth start to the school year. Freshmen families, you may drop off your child at the front of the building at 8:00 AM and pick them up on the Harrison Road entrance at 12:15 PM. This time will serve as their orientation to LCHS and will help all incoming 9th graders feel confident for their first day of school. 

While students in grades 10-12 are welcome to attend Panther Day for specific tasks such as having their photo taken and/or picking up a parking pass, please note that students in grades 10-12 will need transportation to leave campus immediately after completing these activities. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Yearbooks will be sold on Panther Day for $60 (lowest price of the year). Below is the grade level schedule for photographs: Please note these photos are used to generate images for the yearbook and student IDs. 

  • 10:00 - 11:00 Freshman photos in the auditorium 

    • This will be part of the orientation schedule for all freshmen. 

  • 11:00 - 12:00 Sophomore photos in the auditorium

  • 12:00 - 1:00 Junior photos in the auditorium

  • 10:00 - 1:00 Senior photos in the auditorium.
