FALL TESTING INFORMATION
Attention LCHS Students & Families:
As we return from Thanksgiving Break, we will enter the Fall 2024 semester testing window. It is critical for all students to report to school on time with a charged Chromebook.

Here’s what you need to know about upcoming exams:
End-of-Course (EOC) Exams are required for students in Algebra I & II, Geometry, US History, English I & II, and Biology. These are state-mandated and count for 15% of the final grade.

Statewide Dual Credit (SDC) Challenge Exams are also 15% of the final grade, and the schedule is below.

LCHS Final Exams: Students will take final exams as part of their semester coursework.

4th and 5th Block Finals: December 18

1st and 2nd Block Finals: December 19 (Students may leave after testing concludes)

You are encouraged to review our final exam policy on page 36 of the Student Handbook which states "All students are required to take semester exams for each term under the following guidelines: students with an A in the class with 3 or fewer absences may be excused from sitting for the exam. Students with an 'A' average who have more than 3 absences must sit for the exam, but with the understanding that their score will not lower their grade below an 'A'."

No exemptions are allowed for EOC or SDC exams as they are state-required.

End of Course Testing (EOC) and State Dual Credit SDC) Schedule:
December 3- English 1 - pt. 1 & English 2 - pt. 1
December 4- SDCs
December 5- English 1 -pt. 2 & English 2 pt. 2
December 6- Geometry - pt. 1, 2, 3

December 10- US History
December 11-Algebra 2 pt. 1, 2, 3
